I think that you are misinterpreting what Bannon meant. I am quite sure that he meant that it would mean the end of Trump’s political career. It would mean that a large part of his base would abandon him in reaction to being abandoned themselves. I would be in that group, As it seems that you would also be.

The Second Amendment is a fact, and not one that even a president can ignore. Presidents and congressmen have been ignoring it since at least 1934.

The Second Amendment is a fact, and not one that even a president can ignore. Wake up the fact is the 2nd amendment is ignored all over the country. Name one state where you can legally buy a gun without a federal background check? Some judges ignore the 2nd entirely, some courts even ignore Supreme Court decisions on the 2nd.
