What an obedient puppy he is. Obeying before the order was even given.
If Paul Ryan is going to be beaten, it will not be done by
Paul Nehlen, as much as I respect his candidacy. We cannot forget, Nehlen LOST TO Ryan BY 68 POINTS!!
Let’s not allow our anger at Ryan cloud our judgement. Nehlen
is too green a candidate to convince people to take a chance.
We need someone with a thicker political resume, if they exist.
It would have to be former Gov. Scott Walker.
That is the problem, finding someone competent to challenge Ryan. Nehlen turned out to be a joke. If necessary, maybe a Democrat to stop him in November, then replace them two years later. However accomplished, Ryan needs to go.
“If Paul Ryan is going to be beaten, it will not be done by
Paul Nehlen”
You can say that again ... Ryan is going to milk that Foxconn deal for all its worth and then some. It’ll take someone well versed in political destruction to beat him at this point ... unfortunately.
“Lets not allow our anger at Ryan cloud our judgement. Nehlen is too green a candidate to convince people to take a chance. We need someone with a thicker political resume, if they exist.”
While I agree with the sentiment, it’s not as if Nehlen goes straight to Ryan’s Speaker position.
Let’s just FIRE RYAN, and let the chips fall where they may, and that TINY corner of our state can just sit it out for a while.
However, if we can FIND a TRUE CONSERVATIVE besides Nehlen to Primary Ryan, I’ll be all for it! :)
You make a valid point, but it also demonstrates everything that is wrong with the system.
Where did the ship go so far off course, that these seats need to be filled by career politicians, that have no legitimate experience in the real world? Ryan’s existence has been in government, in some form or fashion, since he was able to work. He and his ilk tell us that they’re going to control spending, balance the budget, and cut waste every time they run. And they do nothing but increase all of it, because they’ve never had to make a payroll or be held responsible for the books. They just raise taxes.
I’d like to think that there are at least a few decent ones, and I know there are, but at this point, all of them need to go. We need a complete new slate, with term limits and the banning of any of them from being able to lobby Congress or any federal agency.
