I reject the word “capitalism” as a construct straight out of Marx. I prefer the term “free enterprise”

Absolutely agree! "Capitalism" is the marxists' word for property rights - in short, my stuff is mine, to be used by me as I decide. When they denigrate economic freedom, free enterprise, and property rights as "capitalism," they reveal their intention to steal other people's stuff for their own, supposedly "better" purposes.

“free enterprise”

A voluntary transaction between two people that benefits both (or “maximizes their utility” if you want econ-speak). It’s not really hard to understand at all.

You have to wonder why people would ever choose to get any service from the government at all (except defense and national governance rules). Without competition, they are corrupt, lazy, unproductive, and turn out crap.
