The morning after a 26-24 win in Los Angeles, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz was sharing messages of concern about the mass shooting in Las Vegas.
"So much hate and evil," Wentz said in a tweet. "So sad. The World needs Jesus in a bad way. Praying for all those affected in Vegas." His words are drawing mixed reactions, with some followers praising his "light" and others saying prayers aren't enough

Carson Wentz is very religious and he wears it on his sleeve. Tebow level faith except he doesn’t pray on his knees during the games as far as I can tell. But for whatever reason he never has (yet) polarized fans and the league brass like Tebow did. Just saying that if you liked Tebow because of his values you ought to take a look at Wentz and what he’s doing off the field as well as on.

The young man is too good to be squandering his life playing with a ball.
The Marines might be a good option. When I was in we really needed better Chaplains, although that has since improved.
Let him do something actually worthwhile.

I think God is ok with us defending our self if we are being shot at, or it’s our job like Police etc to subdue/shoot an active shooter.
