I've discussed many,many "matters" in my life and have yet to find myself in Federal (or state) court.
“Matter” was a sly reference to former Attorney General Loretta Lynch requesting Comey call the Clinton investigation a “matter” instead of a criminal investigation. He claims that led to his decision to make his now-famous statement about the results of that investigation.
