I don’t think we know where the car was parked, at least I have yet to see that detail anywhere confirmed. Nothing I have seen suggests it was within visual range of the shooter(s), though of course we have to find out if that was part of the plot, potentially. It may be that the materials in the car were for later, or were for other aspects of the plot that were not carried out.
People are posting various speculations as though they were facts. I wish everyone would be very careful to distinguish what seems to be confirmed ***FACT*** and what is merely FReeper speculation at this point.
The only fact I know if is that his car was found with the fertilizer ingredient in it needed for a bomb. At least regarding his car. I don’t know where it was, if the bomb was ready to go, ready to detonate, was attached to a remote detonation device, etc.
So yeah, I was just saying it is possible the car was to be used as a part of this. Key word, possible.
