There was a camera set up on a room service food cart outside the door to monitor the hallway, and from the size of the cable that I saw in the photo it’s possible that it wouldn’t fit under the bottom of the closed door.
I thought the ‘cable’ looked more like a rose stem laying on the top of the cart. But can’t say for sure.
