Ah, but this is so specific! Why, six people told them one thing and three were in on some other thing, and - oh my goodness! - seven unnamed sources told them something else. What's not to believe about that?
It's clear that NBC - along with most of the DNC media - are feeling the heat for their fake news. So they're trying to make it seem more like it's real by adding details. That's actually good news. Not that they're actually going to go back to real journalism again, but at least that they're feeling the heat. They might even fact check a few stories occasionally. Of course, the DNC media think getting a quote correct - even if the underlying statement is a flat-out lie and they know it - is fact-checking.
