and remember when you hear stories of ‘well, there are no cameras in certain guest areas of that hotel...’

We’re not talking a north end casino built in the 50’s or 60’s. We’re talking a billion dollar enterprise that was the state of the art when built.

I’ve been there. I’ve been in one of the rooms. There are cameras everywhere. Card key or ID required to even get on the elevators.

Again, people: if/when they say no cameras were there, they are LYING.

Well, I have said that.

I can point to newspaper articles published a few years ago that discuss the widespread lack of surveillance cameras in guest areas of large LV hotels.

But I guess we will have to believe you, an anonymous poster on the internet, since you have been there.

There was the one article/press conference where they said that the parking garage showed his car leaving (or gone) during the period his room key was used. So all of that stuff is observed, logged and recorded. Seems pretty obvious that other surveillance such as cameras would also be robust.

I'm guessing it is all being gone over, and they aren't revealing details during the on-going investigation. Until perhaps they reach a dead end and need the public's help. Whether we will ever get the truth, who knows.
