I literally just had a 20 minute discussion with a liberal coworker, explaining the First Amendment to him. He truly believed that not only did the players have a right to protest, BUT that the League or team could not terminate their employment because it would be a “violation of their Constitutional rights” I ended the conversation by telling him to call Corporate and call our CEO an “a$$hole” and see how long his First Amendment rights lasted. He declined. LOL
What a coward. LOL
LOL! People do not seem to understand that the government and an employer are two different entities when it comes to the First Amendment.
