There is also Trump's latest tweet on Roger Goodell (or is it Bad-ell -- I get confused about that)

Goodell stated that the league believes that "everyone should stand for the national anthem" He still didn't get the message.

As a common way to follow the NFL
disrepect for our nation, flag, service personnel, our police and fire, etc., I am using the KEYWORD
boycottnfl And I apologize to everyone I recently offended by giving President Trump too much credit for bringing the NFL to its knees.
It is the American people doing that...

I stopped watching last year and so did many others.
It grew exponentially after Trump tweeted, they seeing their audience evaporate.

Trump didn’t tweet a single word that half of the country wasn’t thinking after a year of this ridiculous virtue-signalling nonsense.
To: topher
3 weeks? Where have you been Newt. This started during the 2016 preseason and Goddell refused to do anything...in fact he endorsed the crap. But allowing the Cowboys to wear a patch honoring the cops murdered by BLM? No way!

They still have the PSA with kissing fags on. They can’t help being contemptuous of their base.

It’s too late. Now when I see them standing there, I’ll know its against their will.
The damage is done.

Is $44 million Roger Bad-ell’s salary? And he is a puppet to boot.

No need to apologize, FRiend, there’s plenty of credit to go around.
MAGA!

i.e., Trump forced the NFL to realize giving in to the social justice warrior crowd was a bad idea.

""It only took Roger, what, two or three weeks of public humiliation to finally get the message?" Newt Gingrich said on "Fox & Friends," noting that President Donald Trump has been a fierce critic of NFL players who refuse to stand for the national anthem, and the league and owners that have allowed them to do so."
Colin, thanks to you as a BLM/NFL idiot, you woke Americans up to the NFL scam on our tvs and our tax payer stadiums. Your contribution to Americans will be remembered, like 8 years of Obama and H. Clintoon's campaigning gave us President Trump!
Or the Dallas Cowgirl Pussies!

No. He’s right. Americans should stand. This is America and no one makes me stand or kneel. But I also understand consequences. Those players have the right to not stand. Fans have the right to stay home. Team owners have the right to change rosters. That’s how freedom works and another man’s freedom means he doesn’t have to do what you want.

The NFL is learning what MLB found out, after their strike-season...people really can find other things to do than sit around and watch people play sports!

Well put.
If the NFL won’t fire them, or doesn’t have any policy in place about ‘standing during the anthem’ then let them do whatever they want.
The left hated laws about behavior 40 years ago, now they’re pushing for fines about what you say.
Let them die a long painful death - and keep kneeling since it’s obviously making a point in the USA... and not the one they imagined.
To: topher
He did NOT get the message. He said “should” stand not “must or else”.

Huh, go figure. I thought it was Trump who was “out of touch.”
At least that’s what the NFL spokesman told us a couple of weeks ago.
