Hence why Obamacare banned the building of any new physician-owned hospitals - there were 40 in line to be built just at the time that Obamacare was enacted - let alone the that would have been built all of this time later. The purpose of Obamacare was to literally trap people into a corporatist insurance and healthcare system - even if the number of medical facilities and hospital beds had to be dramatically reduced. Nonprofits have also be targeted under Obamacare to be forced to sell out to corporations.

Things like Medishare have also exploded under Obamacare as a means of escape.

I don’t participate in it so I can’t endorse it or tell you how it is to experience it, but you might look into Medishare.

Congress didn’t fail. The Senate failed.

I disagree. The House also failed because they knew that the Senate would fail. So they took advantage of that in an attempt to look good. If they wanted to really do right they would be out in the hinterlands agreeing with and helping the population to pressure the Senate to do right. They should be avidly supporting the millions of Trump supporters. Right now they are like a group that says a certain advertisement might be correct but they still will not purchase/use the product in the advertisement. Shame on them.

Similar organization to look at: Liberty Health Share. Far less expensive than Obamacare policies. But they screen for pre-existing conditions and charge more if you are overweight etc.

Also they do not have prescription coverage.

But it’s a far better policy than you can get on the exchange at far less cost per month and far lower deductibles.
