Harford County, where the shooting took place, is one of the most conservative Republican counties in the state. There’s not a single Democrat in office there. Actually most of Maryland is conservative, but we can’t out vote the two cities and their suburbs.

Exactly right. The city of Baltimore, Prince Georges County and
Montgomery County control the state with perhaps some help
from Howard County.

Actually, some of us are stuck with Dutch Ruppersberger. I met Andy Harris once and told him I was glad to be represented by him due to some redistricting. He told me to look a little closer at the map. His district wraps around my town.

True. I live in Anne Arundel County, which is very conservative. Baltimore, Montgomery, and Prince George’s County are very liberal.
