Ronald Reagan’s biggest mistake the first George Bush...
(Whenever the Old Bush is mentioned, my first thought is always about that huge prevarication he made, worthy of a democrat, saying "Read my lips! No new taxes!")
The GOP establishment foisted GHWB on Reagan. He should have left Bush sitting in that bar during the RNC when old George thought that he was being passed over for VP.
The GOPe also foisted W on us. He was the chosen one from the beginning of the 2000 primary season, and the guy could only respond with rehearsed, canned answers during radio interviews while on the campaign trail. The guy was nothing more than a "lesser of two evils" choice in the general.
Without a doubt. Bush did everything he could do to undo Reagan's successful legacy. I will never forget his comment about "trickle down" economics don't work. And the idiot swore, "Read my lips - no new taxes!" and did so. Plus, he claimed it's a "New World Order". If that wasn't code for globalism, what else would it mean?
The Bushes were just another dynasty that we are sick of like the Clintons. Bush I was a disaster. W was good on some issues, but have learned since that the Iraq invasion (which I supported) was a waste of lives and resources. It started the "Arab Spring" that caused a void for ISIS and others to fill.
Obama/Hillary continued on that idiotic search for democracy in the ME that those people don't appreciate. Killing Gaddafi resulted in another void and Benghazi was the result. Thank god, Egypt saw through Morsi's Muslim Brotherhood and the military deposed Obama's puppet and restored Egypt to a free prosperous state who is again willing to work with Israel.
Spot on!
I’ve said that for years!
