“I wish everyone was following your lead on this.”

I know you used to demand sources and not follow the media. Have you stopped?

the Wall Str Journal has really gone downhill in its objectivity, editorial standards

not that I’m claiming it was ever perfect but it did formerly do better than the least couple of years

Leave alone?

How ‘bout raising the limits? Why shouldn’t one be able to dump as much of THEIR $$$ in as they wish?

Oh, that’s right, it’d reduce the tax bracket and $$ flowing into govt coffers to illegally spend.

MY bad. What was I thinking?

Unbelievable meltdowns here, and nastiness back and forth over the whole tax reform.

I’m not sure why you are seeking to take me to task.

I’m the one who called folks on it, for not doing this. So why are you asking me this?

The tax and 401(k) comments have been nasty. You didn’t know this?

I’ve urged folks to wait until there is a bill, or something that justifies their concerns.

Just duh fella...

I am not taking you to task. It just seemed that you were saying you didn’t discern your readings. I know you do.

Well, if I implied otherwise, my mistake.

I don’t believe I did though.

I knew that talk of messing with 401k’s was bogus.

"There were two articles in the WSJ late last week on this subject, suggesting the cuts to 401K’s. Never was there a name attached to the suggestions."

So is the WSJ just a swamp tool as well? I'd say so.

PDJT has the mother of all weeks last week with a DOW of 23,000, ISIS getting wiped out officially, and the 1st budget in 8 years and we are possibly on the verge of a tax deal.

If you are an E-GOPer or a wackadoodle Congresswomen with a big and ugly hat, would you compliment the guy or team making accomplishments, or would you cause disharmony and distractions when what you really need to buy a big Red Ferrari to compensate because you haven't done Ugats...

It’s going to get ugly for the rest of the year (Not that it’s been very good these days). He is playing a very high stakes game to the end of the year. If he comes out of the year with a tax bill (and budget)he’s golden. If you were to add onto that something (even temporarily) on Healthcare where he looks like he made the DEMS move, something on Immigration where the DEMS move it’s going to be quite a thing to behold in my opinion. That’s why they will try to destroy him all barrels for the rest of the year.

Yes wiseprince, you get it, they are impotent and futile, they have nothing.... And I am waiting for them to come out and replace Pelosi, seriously she is not well, they have to get rid of her to even begin to contemplate a change in tactics or strategies.

Common sense prevails...for once.

Common sense and Wall Street. Cutting the number down to $2,400 would likely crash the market. A huge portion of the money in the market is mutual funds driven by 401k’s. No one. Republican, Democrat, other wants the Dow to crash.

Reminds me of the line from Braveheart when he says: You’re so busy squabbling over the scraps from Long Shanks table that we’ve missed your God given right to something better...

Yes, it now, finally, has become apparent to me, that there might even be a concerted effort by the media to sew seeds of dissension in the Trump ranks. Since facts are not something the media seems to want to peddle in, rumors seem to be all the rage. That way you get two times the print. The rumors then the actual news.
