I still think Cruz could grow into it in the next 7 years. HE IS STRONG ENOUGH. He needs to get SOLIDLY on the TRUMP train ... needs to give an all-out endorsement to Trump—EARLY AND OFTEN in 2020.

Remember how passionate we were protesting in Westwood the vote recount of 2001? Can’t go back but it meant everything to us at that time! Shame on GWB! To my knowledge, there isn’t a place to voice our opinion to him - the library/museum doesn’t take emails.. I tried when I had heard originally he wasn’t going to attend the 2017 inauguration...Suppose I could write a letter but really don’t feel like wasting my time!

When I went and supported Bush after the election, it was knowing I hadn’t even voted for him. I voted for Buchanan.
I did not want to see Gore steal the election. I went out there to make it clear we weren’t going to stand by and watch the Clinton/Gore machine roll over everyone in Florida.
I wasn’t there so much for Bush, but that was inevitably what was going on.
My thought to this day is that it was pitiful that Bush couldn’t beat Gore by a larger margin.
I found it pitiful that he couldn’t beat Lurch by more. I did vote for him that time.
I remember the picture but not the occasion. GWB couldn’t have looked more the doofus than in that picture.
BTW - why was he smirking on Saturday night at that TX fund raiser? He looked like he was waiting for obozo or Clinton to join him in whatever humor he saw but they weren’t biting. I’ll have to go back and watch that again as it could have been when they were listening to the president - not sure.
I wouldn’t give a penny to any organization that Bush and Clinton were involved with and why wouldn’t GWB just bow out when he must know the boondoggle Clinton made out of Haiti fund raising. POX on the lot of them! All together, they could just put up their own money. Did any one of them put up as much as President Trump did? A MILLION dollars???? Drain the coffers at all their foundations and fund the recovery!

Honestly, I wasn’t as in tune with globalism back then as I am today, but those words were shocking to hear. I remember my reaction as if it was yesterday. It was very strong, negative.
I think so too, but I’d hate to think that was all.
The media played it up, and too many on the Right bought into it. Was it terribly misguided? Why sure it was.

I know he did. What surprised me was how many Conservatives swore off Because of it. Look, I think Bush was wrong to do it.
Once I studied up on Clinton, there’s no way I would pass up voting against him.
