A Hampton Park man has been charged with allegedly providing funds and services to people involved with Islamic State in Syria.

The 43-year-old was arrested during dawn raids, after an investigation involving the Joint Counter Terrorism team.

He’s due to face Melbourne Magistrates Court later today.

It will be alleged the man provided funds and services to people in the conflict in Syria supporting the terror network.

Victoria Police Deputy Commissioner Specialist Operations Shane Patton said the arrest sent a strong message.

“This arrest sends a very strong message of deterrence to those who would seek to provide support or fund terrorism that they will be investigated and held to account,” he said.

Hardly surprising after seeing how the UK is going to just let ISIS fighters from the UK re-integrate back into their society.

They claim they would lose a generation but I’m left wondering how many of them are going to end up killing others in the UK by any means they can. It’s not like they can just turn that hate westerners switch off in their heads. It’s there for life!

Nope. They should be turned away or better yet; just taken out back by the wood shed and shot. Let the loader come along to pick up their bodies and dump them into a dumpster to be disposed of at some land fill or however they do it there.
