Showboat or not, he’s certainly shown himself to be master of the Twitter tease. But teasing what? It’s not clear. He could just be messing with us.
Witness: Comey is “Reinhold Niebuhr.” This we now know for sure after the former FBI director capped off a series of cryptic tweets with a photo of himself from the account that has long been suspected as his nom de plume.
The world has suspected that the Reinhold Niebuhr account, now with the handle @FormerBu, was Comey since the end of March, .....

Just who is his "base" suppose to be? Mainstream Democrats hate him because they think he sabotaged Hillary, Trump Republicans hate him because of how he treated President Trump. I don't see the libertarians or pro-personal freedom crowd getting behind a former G-Man, and certainly the far-left "Bernie Sanders" crowd isn't going to go for some squishy moderate. The pseudonym is bad enough, but you ought to see the other photos and captions. The one that sticks in my mind is from Gettysburg. Comey thought that was the place to let us know that he’s contemplating “leadership and values.” He’s just a thoughtful, meditative guy, you know—and his reflections tend toward the lofty and the grand.

When he confessed to leaking that story to his college professor friend so he could leak it to the press- I got the feeling that he knew THEY already knew. So he said it first to diffuse it.
Imagine if he denied it and then got confronted with the evidence. On live TV.
