Senator Jeff Flake (R-AZ) gave a bridge burning speech on the Senate floor after news broke that he will not seek re-election in 2018. According to Daily Beast reporter Andrew Desiderio, every lawmaker who attended the speech , both Democrats and Republicans, stood and clapped for Flake — except Rand Paul.
The KY lawmaker didn’t see the virtue in trashing Trump as tax reform is on the table.
Trump hater and RINO Jeff Flake trashed the Republican party and POTUS Trump on his way out the door!
“All stood and clapped after Flake’s speech—except @RandPaul,” tweeted Desiderio.
Good riddance! We don’t need Democrat allies like Flake in the Senate.

“We need term limits on the Senate. 2 Six year terms youre done.”
I still like my version,
One term in office,
Two terms in JAIL!!!
I hope Bannon has the names of all the RINOs there.
Good on Rand
The rest of those maroons sort of remind me of the NFL game several weeks ago, where the entire Dallas Cowboys team (including the owner) "took a knee" before the playing of the National Anthem. They thought it was a clever thing to do, but it was really stupid, and backfired on them, and it is also really stupid to applaud that idiot Flake, just as he is unceremoniously getting the boot from real Americans in his state.
RETIRE ALL RINOS!!!
These two PLUS McCAIN are so jealous of Trump that they cant see anything but hate.
McCain, Corker and Barrasso stand and applaud Flakes speech
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
McCain will be dead soon and Corker is quitting, when will Barrasso be Cantorized?
Okay, so the real story is not many were there, but some RINO’s did stand and applaud.
We should be happy they are so willing to out themselves as targets to be eliminated at the next election.
One of those standing will be the next one to give a bridge burning speech while others out themselves.
Eventually the swamp will drain itself as they see the writing on the wall without their name on it.
The tide has turned. The pendulum has finally started swinging the ‘right’ way.
placemark
How about 2 3 year terms... :/
Well, now, that's interesting. The article makes it sound like virtually all the Pubs in the Senate were on board.
