Thank you for your service Nam Veteran. Got close to joining you during the draft, but I was re-classified as 1Y and still not sure why. Wasn't going to run to Canada if drafted. Figured I'd take my chances if shipped to Nam. Glad I wasn't drafted because of Johnson/MacNamara micro-managing the war.

I still believe that Nam was a righteous war against the spread of the useless ideology of communism. It wasn't executed correctly which resulted in some 58,00 DEAD, not mention the countless who lost limbs, sight, paralyzed, crap in bags, and all the PTSD's and suicides. And then there are the homeless Vets who have been cast aside.

We won against Hitler and Hirohito (sp) in WWII by destroying and killing everyone and everything. If we have to go to war, then kill all and break everything.
