Trump spokeswoman: 'Indisputable' that Clinton camp colluded with Russia

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Saturday accused Hillary Clinton's campaign of colluding with Russia during the 2016 presidential race, claiming that the evidence is "indisputable."

President Trump's top spokeswoman made the claim on Twitter a day after reports emerged indicating that the first charges had been filed in special counsel Robert Mueller's probe into ties between Trump campaign associates and Russia.

"Clinton spokesman just said he's 'damn glad' Clinton campaign colluded w/ Russia to spread disinformation about @POTUS & influence election," Sanders said on Twitter.

"The evidence Clinton campaign, DNC & Russia colluded to influence the election is indisputable," she wrote in another tweet linking to an article from a conservative news site.

Former Clinton campaign spokesman Brian Fallon fired back at Sanders, tweeting, "Ah. So this explains how the 'Clinton administration' came into power."

The tweet was a nod to former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski's comments on Fox News earlier Saturday, in which he responded to reports about charges being filed in the Mueller probe by arguing the focus should instead be on the "continued lies of the Clinton administration."

Sanders attached in her tweet an article about reported claims surrounding the unverified, explosive dossier about Trump's alleged ties to Russia. The Washington Post reported this week that Clinton campaign lawyer Marc Elias had retained intelligence firm Fusion GPS to conduct anti-Trump research. The firm later produced the Trump dossier.

Sanders's claim that a Clinton spokesman said he was "damn glad" about alleged Russian collusion appeared to reference comments Fallon made...

I still think the President has the upper hand with Mueller. President Trump has the Classified Intelligence he needs to prove his claims. If Mueller doesn’t do the right thing, nothing prevents the President from de-classifying it and releasing it.

Mueller only has a rifle in his hand in this battle. Trump has a tank. Mueller has the remote possibility of taking Trump down. Trump has a high probability of taking Mueller down.

Mueller is a swamp creature with no allegiance to anything but money and power. He must choose wisely. If he chooses to really go after criminals in the DNC and Hillary he could become a legendary hero. If he chooses wrongly he may live in history beside Benedict Arnold. He must choose wisely.

Regardless of his choice he is simply a creature of the swamp. He has no honor, it is really that simple.

“If” someone from the Trump ‘team’ has charges filed against them it is Trump’s own fault.

He said he was going to lock her up - and then he backed off. He should have never done that. He should have been on the offense on 1/20/17, he should have forced Sessions to go after the crimes that have been committed against this country by the Democrats. That is the definition of cleaning the swamp.

His “Do something” comment today is VERY disheartening - it didn’t need to be this way. Aggressive swamp cleaning early would have let everyone know this is a no BS Administration - instead they let this thing go on and are now going to pay for it.

Yep - and Trump is being patient and waiting for the board to arrange itself - as he has known it would if he stayed steadfast.
