• Switching to the Democrats, she served in the Arizona legislature (8 years in the House; 2 in the Senate).
• She joined the Blue Dogs when she won election to the US House.

Kelli Ward has been in the race for a long time, already has many conservative endorsements, including President Trump, and has a healthy campaign chest.

Dr. Martha McSally (new in the race) has an okay conservative ranking, and is running for Flake’s seat because her district is becoming more Democrat.

Dr. Paul Gosar (new in the race), is a strong conservative, who could damage the other two strongly if either decided to veer left to get crossover votes.
