Anyone but Yellen as far as I am concerned.

She was someone who epitomized the Peter Principle - rose to her level or incompetence (through sheer politics and not because she was some financial genius).

Man, I thought it was the idiot RINO Powell.

It isn't THAT idiot RINO Powell. It's THIS idiot RINO Powell.

Powell was appointed to the Federal Reserve Board of Governors by a guy named Barack Obama. Before that he was a scholar at the Bipartisan Policy Center and served in the George H. W. Bush administration. He supported Dodd-Frank, Quantitative Easing, and every other major economic policy of the Obama Administration.

... and yet Trump is nominating him to the Fed.

If anything Powell is a more Establishment Yellen.

He’s listening to the Goldman Democrats in the WH.

Listening to his Goldman and Jivanka advisors again.

Except this isn’t the sort of appointment he can get a do-over on.

MY only guide is I have read a lot of stuff on Yellen (had her head in the sand as the head of the Fed Bank in San Francisco in all the years leading up to and even right on the cusp of the housing bust and financial crisis. He horrible record is right there in the minutes of the federal reserve meetings. I n terms of insight into what was really going on with derivatives, subprime mortgages and the housing bubble she was totally no where to be found - denial, denial, denial the whole way.

That is my sole reason and yes it is a “any one but Yellen” reason.

No reason for it to be a Yellen or Powell only choice.
