Thousands of Catalans have protested against the detention of eight regional ministers sacked over Catalonia's push for independence from Spain.

The officials-who appeared in Spain's high court-are accused of rebellion, sedition and misuse of public funds.

Prosecutors are also seeking a European Arrest Warrant for ousted Catalan leader Carles Puigdemont, who did not show up in court and is now in Belgium.

The Spanish government continues its crackdown bringing the fired Catalonian officials into court, jailing them and sewing the seeds of popular revolt.

They are facing charges that could put them into prison for 30 years.

The authorities also want an arrest warrant for the Catalan President Puigdemont, who is in Belgium right now.

That's why I voted for Donald J. Trump for President of the United States among other things.

The Globalists of the EU stand behind the Uniparties of Spain in trying to crush Catalonian independence.

The Catalan government officials didn’t think this through or they thought the Spanish government would just fold. If you declare independence, you need to be prepared to use force, if necessary. Now they are just going to be locked up for decades and Catalonia will have a Spanish government of occupation.

The outrage of these draconian measures with jailings should only increase public opinion and protest in Catalonia in the direction of independence.

It will backfire on Spain some how some way in the long run.

The last leader of the Catalan government to try this ended up in front of firing squad.
