Actually, he vetoed 12 and had 4 overridden.
Obama vetoed 12, too.
Most presidents vetoed around 36, several over 300.
Bush only started vetoing bills once it was a Dem Congress sending them to his desk. GOP Congress could spend like crazy and he was fine with that.
