The article makes that very point.
What is not mentioned is the horribly corrosive effect on the human soul of being a kept pet, of being dependent on government largesse. It breeds severe contempt for the hand that feeds you...and that hand is largely white.
The very best thing that could happen is to end all welfare. Let local churches and agencies pick up the humanitarian works again for the truly needy cases that do exist.
It would be brutal for a generation or two, but, in the long run, it would work and would ultimately be the most compassionate thing to do because it would restore self-worth and dignity. There is nothing for the soul like hard work and the pride of accomplishment.
The horrible chips on the shoulders would gradually disappear (after a period of getting worse).
I understand your points and those in the article.
But, the points I was making is about how blacks are made to feel permanent victims or racism. Pitting white against blacks has been the major reason that blacks are so distrusting of society in general, even if those fanning the flames of racism are mostly the whites in the democratic party.
They are made to hate Whites by the politicians, who tell them that their problems are because of Whites, not because of their self-induced pathologies.
Blacks need to work on their family culture and insure there is a two parent family to bring up their children.
You are absolutely right. As Rush always points out, Democrats need aggrieved voters and do everything they can to stoke the flames of envy, scape goating, and sheer hatred. They never tell their victims they can rise up and succeed on their own merits. Democrats are the biggest domestic enemy we have.
Why can’t they be proud of their accomplishments and talents? They have a huge group of talented and original artists (and I don’t mean rappers) in all of the arts - dance, opera, jazz, musical composition, acting, comedy, writing, etc. They have also achieved success in business (Motown, Oprah Winfrey’s conglomerate, Tyler Perry’s movie studio, and other music, movie and television production companies).
...and for the same reasons.

One can also substitute ‘Jews’ for ‘whites’ and ‘muzzies’ for ‘Obamas’ and be just as accurate.
