The snowflakes believe communism is “really neat” as long as you can practice it in CAPITALIST AMERICA. It sucks everywhere else.
We have had many decades of the highly-politicized nanny state, growing statism, and top-down socialism. Entirely funded by massive government spending and debt in our completely unbacked, printed Federal Reserve currency, which the world accepts as the main reserve currency, for now.
Therefore, many have spent their lives in this American socialism. They see it continue and many of their politicians and teachers tell them it has been good - we can easily have even more socialism. So they believe.
They're not taught the evils of Communism and if that comes up, the ready excuse is "the right people weren't in charge."
What they're not taught:
They “believe in it” because they have never lived under it. I suggest they go to Poland or Hungary and talk to some people who remember life during the communist era.
Idiots celebrating a mass murdering system...being a commie is great, as long as you’re the top commie.
This is not surprising at all given the indoctrination in our colleges and universities — and even in K-12 public schools.
Many Americans Still Believe in Collectivism
Voluntary collectivism is not the same as forced collectivism. If my wife and I choose to voluntarily practice collectivism in our family, that is quite different from government forcing us to practice that collectivism with other individuals...as families then become irrelevant as the whole purpose of a family is collectivism.
There's not a dime's worth of difference between the Democratic Party and the Communist Party of the US any more. (There used to be two bits' worth.)
Colleges are full of idiots trying to get smart. No one should look for wisdom there.
Communism is a lot older than 100.
As far as collectivism, probably 99% of Americans favor it in one form or another. I don’t.
But Bernie wanted to pay for my college!!
Actually, he wanted you to pay for it but, I’m sure you see my point.
