Information entered into NCIC. WHY was there not a flag when he purchased weapons!? This may well be a FBI/NICS problem, not DOD/Navy.

I am wondering if daddy had a few links broken in his records.
You don't get rid of the file, you just make it so that it does not come up in a search.
Otherwise a whole bunch of different departments messed up on the same guy repeatedly.
Does not seem very likely.
