Everyone assumes that .gov will correctly and logically apply the law. The problem IS government, it’s repeated failures are the cause of most crimes. Either thru incompetents or intentional acts.
Prime example is the application of prohibition and more recently the war on some drugs.
If felons are not in the database due to incompetence, how many innocent people ARE in there for the same reason?
