The kid who won this race was a LOCAL fake news anchor who suffered the loss of his girlfriend at the hands of an angry ex-employee of the TV station.

You all probably remember the case from a couple of years ago. The girl was reporting on live TV, interviewing a woman at a zoo or something when the lunatic shows up and kills her on the air.

So the boyfriend, another reporter at the same station, is now a legislator in Virginia.

Folks, local elections matter.
