I traveled to London on business in the 1990s and picked up a magazine called Mojo. It was light-years ahead of Rolling Stone or any other rock magazine I’d ever read. The articles were well-written, they focused on a good mix of old and new talent, and sometimes they’d throw in a compilation CD that was awesome (Mojo65 was an assortment of early Brit rock and MOD tunes...bloody brilliant). Best of all, it was a MUSIC MAGAZINE...no political articles, no SJW...just music. I never bought Rolling Stone thereafter.
Mojo was a breath of fresh air back then. It did change when GWB was elected. They began snippy editorial comments. It got bad enough that I gave it up as well.
