Ahh ... not to worry, there has been active volcanic activity below the Antarctics icecaps for TENS OF MILLIONS OF YEARS so we actually have nothing to worry about. Sometimes in the Antarctic, ice melts and, guess what, the ice-water refreezes after flowing a relatively short distance away.
OK, having posted the above logical and fact based words, I can now post my usual reaction to seeing such alarmist items....
...OH NOEEEO...WERE ALL GOING TO DIE!!!
