Sessions cannot think on his feet.

Questioned about who POTUS could pardon, he can’t come back with “President Obama pardoned convicted criminals and known terrorists. That answers your question. Next question.”

Sessions is making me feel ill.

who owns sessions anyway?

Sessions says that he doesn't work for the president, and that he instead works for the American people.

Since the American people don't vote for AG, that makes Sessions' answer wrong, and your question still in need of an answer.

He truly appears to be clueless. This job is way beyond him.

People don’t know how the AJ or the FBI work.

For starters, the DOJ and the FBI are both supposed to answer to the Chief Executive.

Sessions doesn't believe that.

We have a big problem here.

No, he’s just firmly moved his dept. back to the epithet ‘Just Us’. He knows exactly what he’s doing, protecting each and every member of ‘the club’, that big thing you and I ain’t in.

I do think that Sessions believes if he is honest, he can clean up the government corruption! He’s delusional!

The left will wipe him out. When have we had a justice department that is working for the people? When have we had an Attorney General.. which is the highest branch to mete out justice.. along with the Supreme Court.. when have we had an Attorney General who did what the office is for and work for the people?

If Trump fired Sessions, wouldn’t a new AG have to be approved by the dems?.. and what are those chances of getting a good one! slim to none!

Anyone else notice that Sessions got more ticked off at Jordan than he did at Jackson-Lee? That tells me all I need to know about Sessions. The man needs to go.

Good point.

And it's similar to the way Tony Podesta is ticked of at Fox news but not SC Mueller.

Who owns him and who he works for are different.

Uniparty obviously owns him. He works for whoever can fire him.

Democrats’ legs are tingling bigly today. MSM are drinking their lunch today. Conservatives are mourning today.

I’m done.

I was going to give him the benefit of doubt, but now, by his own answers, I see he isn’t going to budge, and justice for the Clinton Foundation, the Dossier, the Federal Intel and Law Enforcement agencies used politically, et al, is not going to happen.

In order for us—the USA—to survive Constitutionally, it necessary to do something about these potential crimes. At least a proper review to ensure no illegalities occurred! An investigation doesn’t necessarily mean a conviction, and AG Sessions won’t even do an investigation. AND, he thinks his recusal prevents him from reviewing any of these things. In fact, and this is my opinion but I think it is true, the ENTIRE Justice Department won’t do a thing because the AG recused himself. That’s what I’m hearing. Shameful!

I’m done with him. Fire him. He’s GOT to go.

I agree. I was holding out hope, for Sessions.

Looks like he’s laying back and being steamrolled, like a submissive dog.

Very disappointed in his poor responses.

The republican party has the Presidency, the house and the senate...

AND.....
They are working against Pres Trump in the office of the AG, the justice dept, the house and the senate.. also working against Trump is the media... and the Republican party.

The only ones who are FOR our President are the really dumb, out of touch voters who put this man in the office of the President of these United States... and I am sick at how they are treating this man!!

What is this hearing supposed to be for? I honestly don’t even know anymore.

I agree. I need to rewatch and see if a clear, defined purpose for this hearing was laid out, by the Chair, at the beginning.

Right now, it’s a 5 ring circus with the clowns like Shelia Jackson lee rolling out charges of mishandling convicts. WTHell?

I agree .. it’s really sad to hear Sessions today! I can’t watch him any more.

Trump has to take control and do a round up of arrest... fire them.. get the dirt out or we will never survive!

That beady black-eyed, malevolent glare used to be reserved for our enemies - I cheered it all the time - ..... and he used it on Jim Jordan today.

Greg Jarret, Fox News, said (IIRC) that Trump could just move someone who has already been Senate approved for another post?
