Two reporters are in Alabama trying to discredit Roy Moore’s accusers. They haven’t found much
National Review ^ | November 14, 2017 | by THEODORE KUPFER

Roy Moore is a Steve Bannon fantasy candidate. He’s an insurgent populist, a self-described renegade who shares Bannon’s arsonist attitude toward the Republican establishment and cares little for the proprieties of D.C. Or the basic standards of a civilized society, apparently, given that two women have accused Moore of criminal sexual assault and three more say he tried to “date” them when they were teenagers and he was in his thirties.

But to Bannon, who has returned to a leadership role at Breitbart since leaving the Trump administration, deviance is working alongside Mitch McConnell, not setting a conduct bar so low that even Anthony Weiner can clear it. Bannon won’t let Moore’s odiousness stand in the way of his burn-it-down dreams: He’s a Leninist, a fire-starter, and he’s got a trick up his sleeve.

Make that two, in the form of Aaron Klein and Matthew Boyle, the reporters who together constitute Breitbart’s investigative team. Bannon has sent them down to Alabama on a mission to defend Moore and discredit the bombshell Post report from last week, and their work is already bearing fruit. Just yesterday they broke a whopping four stories, each headline beginning with a breathless “EXCLUSIVE.” Step aside, Bob and Carl — two new gunslingers just rode in.

Many Alabama voters think that Moore brings enough good to the table that it’s worth overlooking the bad, even as the bad gets worse, and worse, and worse. Breitbart is doing its best to persuade them to remain entrenched, while the party leadership has refused to go along with Moore and his predations. If Bannon wins, the Republican party will resemble a more sinister version of the Democrats circa ’96.

On second thought, maybe we should be thankful that he keeps Klein and Boyle around.

So far NOTHING has been proven so how can it get “worse and worser”. I thought that you needed evidence to make a case, not undocumented innuendo and charges. My mistake, NR.

Gee, even Sen. McCarthy had the documentation about those he confronted. (See: M. Stanton Evans book, “Blacklisted by History” for documentation details).

You have it backwards.

According to this site, there was no Roy Moore or Bev Young at this high school: https://old-friends.co/school.php?s=29935#1977

The now 53 y/o woman may have been sexually abused, but she reportedly has made similar claims against others. She has a lot of psychological problems, making false claims may be one.

People today may find an older man courting a younger woman “creepy,” but 40 years ago and further, it was not, particularly in the South. The age of consent in Alabama and many states is 16. A 16 y/o is considered a young woman, not a child. The problem we have today is the problem of perpetual adolescence. Those 16-18 are young adults and should be considered as such. I joined the Navy at 17, and was man enough to do so. My great aunt married at 16, my mother at 18. They both married older men who were established and could care for them and their chidren. That’s not creepy.

I can’t really recall. It seems to me that on at least one car, I had to unlock the door to open it.

From what I recall, one had to pull the push button door latch up to unlock the door. That’s why it was shaped like a golf tee so one could get a good grip on it. Maybe I’m wrong. It’s been many years since I owned a vehicle that had manual door locks.

In the 70s, with the new-fangled electric door locks, using the handle on the door always unlocked it. It was a safety thing to always allow a passenger to get out.

Electric and vacuum-operated door locks were around for decades by 1977. I had a ‘53 that had them...

Considering his past pedophile activity, why is NR still employing this man?

Finding out what car Judge Moore had at the time of the alleged incident would settle this.

Then he has taken the honor bestowed upon him and used is for a messy hit piece, basically denying the right of being innocent until proven otherwise. What happened to the NR?

Lowry is a #NeverTrumper who lines up with Bill Kristol. Yes, likely a neo-con, not a true conservative. He’s destroyed National Review.

Never Trumpers and drive by media radio talk hosts are having a field day ignoring the fact that all of the accusers were of the age of legal consent. Including the one claiming when 14 years old. For her accusations are the juiciest. Which they gleefully relate and dwell on in a touchy feel-ly manner as if it came off of a police report yesterday. Not as a unsubstantiated recollection from 40 years ago. Because they know these are damaging accusations which will be almost impossible to disprove.

Despite that fact that it has been uncovered that two of his accusers are working for the Perversion Party and that their accusations are false and politically motivated. The drivebys and the nevers media are not reporting this but are mentioning one accuser is a “Republican” .

Here is background on two accusers. One works for the perverts that one knows the one who claimed she was 14. But was actually 17 at the time? http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3603606/posts
Latest charge : Grad book signature a forgery; http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3604591/posts
someone named Roy signed it Moore’s last name was added to it. She claims she was trapped in his car when he accosted her. Were drover controlled child proof car locks around in 77 ?

So, I started reading a bit more about the newest allegation. Interesting that the woman says that she was waiting for her boyfriend but decided to get a ride with Moore. Moore then drove around to the back of the restaurant, where he assaulted her.

Do I have that part right?

I then read a comment that there is no, “back of the restaurant”. I look up the address on Bing Maps and Google Earth. When I put in the address to the restaurant, the location is somewhat vague. Maybe I don’t have a, high speed enough computer. And I can’t seem to get one of those Google Earth, street views. Interesting, since I see that damn, Google car all the damn time and I always seem to be able to see storefronts and homes using that part of the software. Almost seems like that ability has been disabled or something.

Anywho, if the building I think is the restaurant, is the place, then the back of the place is a set of train tracks. Probably CSX or Norfolk Southern, but could be a short line operating in the area. One would think, that someone that can recall the events of that night so long ago, in such detail, might mention that they would have had to driven through the ballast and over the Right of Way, over the rail and park on a railroad track. I don’t know.
