Clearly, adjustments will eventually have to be made to Obamacare if it is to survive.

I don't know what it'll be, but it's a slamdunk Schumer and Pelosi will come up with something when they take over next year.

You cannot pass laws like this when in the end the losing party has nothing to lose. If Republicans screw this up, McConnell and Ryan will still have a job. If I was in no fear of losing my job, and it was all about my own greed rather than the people I serve, what do I care if a bill passes or not.

And, your point differs from the reality of D.C.....how?? The (R)NC is a constant fuster-cluck, but they have MILLIONS of brain-dead lever pullers as the (D).

>This is why term limits must be implemented

Sorry, that’s the last, IMO, of the possible solutions.

Higher on the list:
- (Re)Enforce equality of Law...no EXCEPTIONS to/from govt.
- Remove any/all lobbying ability (esp. the ‘hiring’ of the *connected* for ~5-10yrs.)
- Sunshine Law. ALL govt will be transparent to the People.
- Require the State to pay for any/all payments/bills of their elected (pay, staff, bennies, etc.).
- Federal budget to be paid by %, per census, by each State\territory.

Think #1 and the last would nip quite a bit in the bud off the bat.
