The Trump administration reinstated a de facto catch-and-release policy for illegal immigrants nabbed crossing the border in Texas, with Border Patrol agents being told Wednesday not to even bother turning them over for speedy deportation because there was no bed space, a top agent said.
The problem, said Brandon Judd, an agent and president of the National Border Patrol Council, is that illegal immigration has surged once again after dipping during the early months of President Trump’s tenure.
That has left the deportation agency, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, struggling to find beds to hold the illegal immigrants. As a result, Border Patrol agents who bring apprehended people to ICE are turned away.
“We’re going to have to release them out our front door,” Mr. Judd said. “Even if we try to turn them over to them, they’re just not going to take them.”
He said ICE’s San Antonio office, which handles most of the traffic from the Texas border, said it would have to refuse to take any family units the Border Patrol tries to turn over and will soon reject even non-family migrants.
Later Wednesday, Mr. Judd said, ICE’s El Paso office told agents it also was at capacity and was refusing family units.

The nominee for Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, Kirstjen Nielsen, has said that she opposes deportation of illegals and favors citizenship for “Dreamers.” If she gets the appointment, and no doubt she will, it will be more free rides for illegals.
Just drive them the few miles back to the border and gently push them through the gate. Simple.

Am I the only one who finds this bullsh*t about finding beds for illegal aliens ridiculous? Every single one of these illegal alien invaders, upon apprehension, should be delivered to the embassy of their country of origin for processing and immediate deportation.
And do tell me why the efff do you need judges to say that these low life grass crawling invaders are ILLEGAL when BP or CSO just pulled them out of a loaded van or on a trail that were in a group of 20 led by a coyote.

No kidding. Especially in El Paso. It’s less than a 5 mile drive to dump them into Mexico.

That’s exactly what Trump should do.
The solution is super simple. Have B-52 bomber jets at the nearest air base filling up with these illegals then fly them to southern most end of Mexico and drop them off regardless of where they are from. If they came over the Mexican border it’s the Mexican’s problem; not ours.
Those B-52’s can probably hold 4-500 people easy. A few trips a day until all the beds are empty and fast track all those waiting for a court date then just start more flights as needed.
All illegals must go home. This is not an option. A promise was made to build the wall and secure the border. Hire and fire whomever it takes to get the job done. This was always a problem with political will; not a physical one.
Let’s roll and we need to go armed to the teeth
Let them bring their beds with them when they cross the Rio Grande.
