U.S. Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) said he is pleased after the Senate took an important step to help address sexual assault in the U.S. Military by advancing one piece of legislation on the subject.
"The number of sexual assaults experienced by members of our military is totally unacceptable, and it's outrageous how hard it has been for these survivors to seek and get justice," said Sen. Franken. "I'm pleased we were able to come together to take steps that will help curb military sexual assaults.

Probably the only time in this dumbass’s Senate career that he remarked upon something with which he had first hand(s) knowledge.
How can any woman in this country close her eyes and feel safe with Al Franken roaming around?
People need to call McConnell and demand that he censure Franken and expel him from the Senate. Every Democrat who said made any accusatory statements about Roy Moore needs to step up to the microphone and demand that Franken be expelled from the Senate.
I refuse to allow any double standard here. Women must be believed. Franken must go or else it is further proof of Democrat’s war on women!
Those of us who opposed the heavy influx of women into combat arms warned that sexual activity, both with consent and without, would become widespread.
I called McConnell.
His office assured me that Franken will step down at McConnell’s request.
And then, once the Satanic Pedophile Roy Moore is imprisoned, Franken will be appointed to fill the Alabama Senate seat.

Franken has always been a corrupt lowlife but even idealistic congresscritters get started early on the road to corruption when they have to address their fellow pond scum as “honorable.” Lying and denial becomes easier each passing day. At this point I really can’t think of any congressperson I could address as honorable with a straight face.
