The Alabama Republican party is officially standing by Roy Moore as the GOP nominee in the Senate race, closing the door on one of the few options to block Moore from being elected.

“The ALGOP Steering Committee supports Judge Roy Moore as our nominee and trusts the voters as they make the ultimate decision in this crucial race,” said Alabama GOP Chairwoman Terry Lathan in a statement Thursday.

I don’t know whether the Senate can expel him, but I’ve seen a post or two that claim it can’t.

I read that a two thirds majority of Senators can expel another Senator from the Senate, but even if so, there may be other conditions attached to the process.

You are exactly right about this. I explained basically the same thing on another thread, and pointed out that Democrat/RINO politicians and other elites in New York and Washington look down upon virtually all Southerners as an ignorant tribe of Yahoos. And this charade is a perfect example of that.

The more I search those different spellings of the assistant's name, the more I'm inclined to believe it was Delbra Adams.
I get results for a Court Specialist at State of Alabama Circuit Clerk's Office Cherokee County.
I also get results as a certified public notary located in Sand Rock, AL.
And ... I get results for Delbra Adams in Leesburg , AL. with a lot of A.K.A.s

Alabama does NOT allow “no excuse” early voting. Such practices are an invitation to voting fraud. And, we require photo ID to vote, so dead Democrats need not apply.
