LOL, you got me... noticed you up-thread.

Not saying she earned a seat at the political table. To the contrary, her politics are quite annoying. That said, Ivanka was outstanding during the 2016 campaign. But her post-election opinions are obviously hers, and hopefully have only measured influence on Dad.

Right or wrong, I see Ivanka as Trump’s daughter, not his advisor.

She wasn't much good to him at ANY time of his run...neither during the primary ( she did NOTHING for him then!) nor during the actual run for the presidency ( when she opened her lefty mouth and talked about child care payments from the Fed Gov! ) and she is, unfortunately, far more than just his daughter.

She told/tells him what to do and what not to do! Sometimes he listens and sometimes he doesn't. Still and all she has his ear far more than Melania, who thankfully hasn't meddled in the politics of it all, has.

It's not just her politics that are "annoying"...SHE is a VERY annoying person ! And before someone decides to call me "jealous", or any other abjectly stupid impugnation, there isn't one singled thing about Ivanaka that I have any reason to be "jealous" of!

“Ivanka was outstanding during the 2016 campaign.”

I was “wait and see” about Ivanka at the beginning. Then at the GOP Convention she began spewing her lib ideas about getting the government involved in subsidizing day care. Huh - are you KIDDING me? That’s when I knew.
