Hope Janice Rogers Brown gets on the Supreme court.
I’ve always loved her (Brown) but my guess is she’s too old for this position IMO.
Unfortunately, she retired last June from the US Court of Appeals for DC.
My goodness...the transcript doesn’t do this justice. Hatch gets so mad his voice is breaking up. He also starts slamming the gavel down repeatedly. Brown looks totally shell shocked that Hatch pushed back at him like that. They aren’t used to being called out on their bull crap and that is precisely what it is and always has been.

For this thread, Judge Brown has already retired...and at 68 she is really too old to be a new justice. Hopefully Trump will appoint someone much younger that can be there for several decades (assuming they are a good constitutionalist, of course).
Good grief. Yes let’s put a 68 year old woman on the court. I am just stunned. Words fail.
