It wasn’t the US uranium the Russians wanted, although it was a nice bonus. Uranium One, a Canadian company, had, with the help of Bill Clinton, secured large uranium mines in Kazakhstan, and that’s what the Russians really wanted.

From: http://dailycaller.com/2015/05/05/clinton-cash-flashback-the-clintons-pressured-kazakhs-to-ok-uranium-deal/

"But the deal was secured in Sept. 2005 after Giustra and Clinton flew to Kazakhstan on Giustra’s private jet. There, Clinton met with Kazakhstan’s president, Nursultan Nazarbayev. Clinton spoke glowingly in public about the authoritarian Nazarbayev, and days later, the uranium deal was approved."

Is this treasonous act akin to Clinton's Loral China missile MIRV technology treason?
