That's a bit of good news—Tillerson knows that changing 1000 year old tribal cultures doesn't work and is not our business.
I’m fine if these “dissenters” want to make these lists mean what they say. But the lists have always been used for leverage in a wide range of negotiations, not just for the stated purpose. I’d expect state dept employees to understand that.
Can the dissenters show a history of dissenting on Obama’s lists? Or do they just hate Trump? Maybe this dissent is only released/published because the media hates the current president. Let’s see the dissents over the last 8 years?
If dissenters don’t have a history of consistency, do they have a plan to make the lists mean what they say in the future regardless of who is president? Or is their concern only going to last until the next D/RINO president?

I don’t understand - we’ve been allied with Afghanistan and Iraq for over 10 years providing much military aid. Why is this suddenly an issue now? Oh wait...
They are setting themselves up as whistleblowers so it will be impossible to unseat them.
It was common knowledge contractors and subcontractors in Iraq were breaking child labor laws under Hillary State Dept contracts. The Dept knew it and did nothing.
Bush and Obama had no problem with our Afghan “allies” having boy sex toys in their bunks.
