It wouldn’t happen if people molesting young boys were burned at the stake. The Germans had an old custom to deal with child abusers: They’d beat them to a bloody pulp and then have the child he abused stand on the abuser while they held him down and drowned him in a river. After that, the child was pronounced clean.
