I was in a situation once where we had to eat Vietnam era C rats - in the mid 1990’s so they were 20-25 years old.

I’ll eat anything. I generally don’t whine.

Those were horrible.

And I suspect they were not any better in 1970.

We would always check dates on opening a new case of C's. A pisspot full were WWII manufacture.

The newer stuff had spaghetti and meatballs, etc in place of the Alpo like stuff of old. A dog might not eat that "beefsteak" thing.

Are you 64 or 65. I had number 235 in 1972.
