His poll numbers when he was elected were 53% or so.
No one is sorry they voted for him and a few have come over from the dark side as was inevitable that number will continue to increase as not only will Trump’s successes become evident but the alternate, the GOP and the. Clintonobamabushsoros team of corrupt anti Americans, by simple exposure, will become commonly despised
That’s the way Trump will succeed. Always has been. He knows it. He knows them, he knows their secrets and their methods. He knows what he has to do. Exposure. Mercilessness. The way they would do to him. Whatever they try to do to him to ruin his reputation is based on lies.
He is not fazed by phony poll numbers

I always assume one of two things when people say they don’t like him they voted for him, they like happy him but they can’t say it out loud, or that their opinion of him doesn’t matter because he won and his support has not decreased
The poll numbers are fake.
Trump should consider visiting the troops in Afghanistan/Iraq for Christmas.

Perhaps you need more education on “polls”. For example, who took them, how they were worded and worse, what was “reported”. Personally, I have never believed polls as a positive indicator for anything.
Pay attention to what he said. He mentions the US has the best weapons. We have been selling them to other countries, but not our own. He then says that we always keep the best for ourselves because you never know when an ally becomes a foe, like we will soon find out.
Remember, The US Coast guard fall under the DHS, but they are not part of the DOD. They, like the Secret Service, work for the Department of the Treasury. They, like the USMC, work directly for the Executive Branch.
The reason why the first family was visting the USCG station is because Mar-a-Largo is on an island. They are tasked to guard it when the POTUS is in residence. He made a special trip to thank them for giving up thier holiday for him.
Not too shabby for a guy who the media makes it sound like everybody in the country hates him.

Wednesday night on Cnn they went on and on how obama family went to food shelters on Thanksgiving and how Trump was doing his twit feed instead of giving.
Pffft! Knew Trump would do something for troops.

Oh okay, I didn’t realize that. Usually the military already has holiday dinner prepared with all the trimmings and the President joins them and serves the food.
Great that he went to see the Coast Guard this year, they are often overlooked.
