My grandmother was born in 1897 and married my grandpa in 1911. She was either 13 or had just turned 14. Grandpa was 21. They were married until he died in 1956. They had 9 children. My mother was 15 when she married by father in 1938. He was 20. More recently my brother was married in 1959. He was 18. His wife was 15. He passed away a few years ago. They were married 49 years. My sister was married in 1962. She was 15. Her husband 19. They’re still married.
