Wow, I didn’t realize that the removal of State and Local tax deductions that apply to everyone else won’t apply to corporations. I guess the Republican desire to screw the middle class knows no bounds.

Yes, and the author is clueless if he thinks tax deductions are “subsidies.” This is the kind of group think propaganda that has dominated this entire tax bill debate. Also, the Senate is now discussing inserting automatic tax increases into the law that will raise everyone’s taxes if the deficit goes up or projected growth is not what they hoped for. That means they won’t even have to vote on the tax increases - they will kick in automatically. But all your tax deductions that they are taking away will be gone FOREVER.

Unless you have a half dozen kids, they want you to pay for the increased refunds to non contributors. Isn’t that the definition of insanity? How much more money of your table for people to sit at home and watch tv?
Their ridiculous line that the wealthy pay almost all the taxes is a sham too. We pay the highest percent of our spendable income... every time.
