No Black will ever win the presidency for Years to come

I'm afraid you are right about that. A lot of good people will have zero shot thanks to those two.

She won’t be the first woman to lose her bid for the presidency

I can see them running her to deny Bernie, but it will cause civil war. Especially if Pocohauntas, Kamilla, Gillibrand, and other womyn are still in the mix.

Here is what is horrible. I think she has a chance to win....

I do too. She's the only candidate that can unite the Democratic Party's "coalition of the fringes." She'd be the American Eva Peron. Unlike her husband, I'm not sure that she likes campaigning, but the whole MSM would carry water for her beyond even what they did for Barry and Hillary, because the idea of beating Trump gives them the tingles.

Just what this country needs:

A woman who wrote her College thesis titled:

‘WHY I HATE AMERICA’........

Only the brain dead Democrats would nominate that for President.

Thanks rktman. No, she won't. She won't spend another eight years in that "prison", particularly since she won't be able to take off on a $50 million vacation junket every three months if she were POTUS.

Her Heinous had similar non-credentials in running first for Senator here in the People’s Republic of New York. Once NYC and its suburbs voted her in, she was able to claim that as her credential even though she did squat as a Senator. The true believers in the RAT party took her the rest of the way in losing to Barry, fleecing the world as his Secretary of State, and finally in losing to Trump.

1. She outpolls all other Democrats
A lot of people perform well when they have not been "the candidate". That goes for the Elon Musk types, too. Trump was the oddball who had the resources, will, skills and timing.

2. According to a Zogby poll last month, she leads the pack of potential Democratic candidates, despite her insistence that she would “never run.”
If I am a high profile Democrat primary opponent, I would politely pointed out that President Trump was already challenged by the a former First Lady from a presidency popular with Democrats ... how'd that work out?

3. She wouldn’t be the first to deny her real intention:TWICE Hillary Clinton ruled out running for president and then did exactly that – in 2008 and again in 2012. It was the smart thing to do then, and it’s the smart thing to do now.
4. Obama did the same thing. The difference is that in 2008 the Democrat inner circle wanted an alternative to same-old same-old Clinton. Many in 2020 are still smarting for the seats that Obama has cost them since 2010, and aren't interested in continuing to pump the oxygen out of the room.
5. There’s simply no one else:Look at the potential candidate for the Democrats! Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren – are you kidding? It’s almost a joke. You don’t think Barack and Michelle Obama realize that? Hillary Clinton doesn’t even register on the polls.

Obama himself wasn't registering in 2005. Carter and Clinton were low polling in 1973 and 1989 (Clinton's speech bombed in the '88 convention). For Dems, that means nothing. A Harris, Patrick, Klobuchar, Musk, etc. could catch on.

6.It’s smart to play hard to get – and that’s what she’s doing: It’s way too early for any serious candidate to throw his or her hat into the ring. Any candidate who does so now is not a serious candidate.

President Carter may disagree, and Kerry's early entry helped play him thorugh rough waters. There's going to be a LOT of candidates, and only so much organizational and fund-raising talent. Trump was a unique candidate at a unique time. The Dems don't have a Trump. Mrs. Obama would at least have to quietly pass word that there is a plan to keep the right people on hold.

7. Even on an unauthorized fake Facebook page she’s got nearly 500,000 supporters: Impressive, no? She’s also the darling of Twitter.
Let me know when she has an account that has 10% of Trump's. She has to do better than Ron Paul numbers to be the overwhelming favorite to make the field give way.

8. She detests Trump and needs to restore the Obama legacy he “stole”: If she really perceived she could win, why wouldn’t she run? Her children will be grown. She will be bored in another year out of the limelight.

She cannot possibly run on the platform of "new ideas", and Barack Obama was a LOT more popular personally than his policies, which is why we have a Republican majority. Obama usually could speak in ways that photograph, record , and televise well. Even with media massaging, Mrs. Obama will have deficiencies nearly as bad as Mrs. Clinton on that score. Mrs. Clinton was far more practiced at being in confrontational settings.

9. No matter what she says, she adores the spotlight: Look at all the hype she gets. Look at all the interviews she gives. Look at all the stories urging her to run. Not thinking about it is not even believable. Despite what she says, she loves politics and government:She’s never going back to law.

I don't know if she has will. DJT easily tired Mrs. Clinton out. While Mrs. Obama is younger, I get the vibe that she likes her vacations, and likes to get her attention on her terms. She can do that as a former First Lady. She and her husband may be able to anoint the next nominee in a way Mrs. Clinton cannot. I see no evidence of the Fire in the Belly that is needed against a man who will fight back when needed. (Mr. Obama did not have that problem with McCain or Romney)

10. She really believes she’s a role model: How many articles have you seen about what a great role model she is for young women – especially young women “of color”? She believes her own press clippings. The media adore her almost as much as she adores herself, but not quite. She has a proven political team – her husband’s: One thing you can say about Barack Obama is that he ran two great campaigns. He didn’t do it alone. He did it with clever operatives, plenty of grass-roots support, great press and terrific social media. That team can be reassembled. In fact they are waiting in the wings for marching orders. It really might be the best the Democrats could do. She wants to be virtually drafted: Remember the Obama strategy of leading from behind? That’s exactly what Michelle Obama is positioning herself to do in politics. It might just happen. It would solve many real problems for the Democratic Party, which is shambles right now.

There is half a party infrastructure and half a dozen candidates with varying levels of skills, chits and resources that don't want to dance to those who have shown little interest in paying back favors. The poobahs of the Dem party also may have serious doubts. Mrs. Obama would not want to be the one who further diminishes Obama's legacy in an embarrassing defeat. Remember: The Obamas prefer to clear the field of decent candidates until they get a patsy like McCain or Romney to run against. Trump is neither. Trump is also president, and even now may be finding hidden bodies (not all, but enough) that the Obamas may wisely wish to remain buried.

Mr. Farah may like attention getting headlines, but he is 0 for 10 on reasons. It ain't happening.

We are one year into the Trump Presidency.
Anyone planning to run in 2020 will need a campaign
up and running by next Fall.

She has NO TIME to take ANY job that one could plausibly claim is preparation to be POTUS.

If she gets herself elected Senator from some deep blue hellhole and keeps her nose clean, she might have a shot in 2024.

I can see three Democrats that would beat Trump. Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris and The Mooch.

Yes, Trump won in 2016, but here barely beat (and lost the popular vote to) the most corrupt candidate in history who also had a horrible reputation.

The Mooch would win hands down in a landslide simply because her husband is emancely popular and she was always more liked than him. The blacks would again come out in droves for her and working class whites that supported her husband would come back too.

We dodged a bullet in 2016. But that bullet could come back and bite us in 2020

People won’t forget what obama did to race relations (and a lot of other things) for decades; maybe even a hundred years.

Somewhere in the back of people’s minds they will remember that and vote against any black person; even some blacks simply because we already know what happens when one is President and it’s no good for the country as a whole.

In a way this is a shame because I think there are probably some good black people who would make good Presidents but obozo killed their opportunity.

I guess it's possible. Crazier things have happened.

Farrah doesn't seem to have much grasp on logic, though.

It's not politics or government that Michelle loves. It's the activism, the spotlight, the stuff.

That she's not going back to law doesn't mean she'll run for president. She gets plenty of stuff just being ex-Flotus.

That she's not afraid of upstaging her husband -- if that's really true in any substantial way -- doesn't mean she wants to be president. She can "upstage" him in petty ways if that's what she wants without shouldering the burdens of office.

That she thinks she's a role model doesn't mean she wants to be president. Maybe Oprah is her role model, and for Oprah the presidency would probably be a step down.

If you are ex-Potus or ex-Flotus, you have a role in the country. You have an audience. You get a spotlight. You get what you want. And nobody demands much from you in exchange for all that. You don't have to risk all that just to get back into the White House.
