“Reading tea leaves, perhaps? Up for re-election?”
Orrin Hatch is up for re-election next year and I believe his Utah Mormon Base will return him to the Senate if he chooses to run. Hatch presents a problem for Conservatives in that if he decides not to run, Mitt Romney will most likely run and win. With statements like this one, and with Mittens waiting in the wings, I’m beginning to see the “wisdom” of yet another term for Hatch.
Think Romney will run in a primary against Hatch since Hatch appears to be boarding the Trump train? Would be interesting...
