The ad from Log Cabin Republicans features people praying at church and around a dinner table, saying that politicians are “attacking our values, our churches, our children.”

"Our values"?

I have witnessed Log Cabinettes in action working to get mainstream Republicans to knuckle under and "Just support gay marriage already."

You know what that kind of talk does?

It opens no minds to their supposed "reality."

Good Christians not only are all in for Moore, they are deeply opposed to queerdom, nothing gay about it.

More like call them to repent.

But given that, in no way should the influence of gays be accepted ... so, yeah, their influence should be completely rejected. Indeed, not compromising about the need to repent is the absolutely necessary first step to not compromising with their potential influence as they may start occasionally warming pews.

... it would be nice to also stop compromising with the World on heterosexual license as well (especially in how we too often tolerate divorce for reasons other than those Christ acknowledged, never mind how many tolerate “no fault” divorce)...

I’m still waiting for the apparent Yearbook Forgery to be given as much attention as when it was presented as Proof that Roy Moore did something illicit.

Notice how we are hearing nothing from the famed Attorney Gloria “crooked nose” (a great Mafia nickname BTW) Allred?

I personally think part of this problem is that folks don’t seem to recognize that humanity’s problem is a want of holiness, not morality (it was the tree of the knowledge of good and evil after all).

The Gospel tells how God ultimately dealt with the need for people to be reckoned holy and to receive the Holy Spirit.

Frequently in conversations like this I mention the body of death that Paul spoke of. Part of the problem I see with the BoD is that, since it wants us to obey it rather than the Spirit, it is likely to be perfectly willing to be “good” if that means the fruit in our lives is it’s fruit and not the fruit that comes from obeying the Holy Spirit. I would suggest that these potential fake works are those Scripture describes as buring up: the wood, hay or stubble. That works that are the result of obedience to the Holy Spirit are those which are imperishable (and please note: actual repentance IS a work of the Spirit and no blood bought saint ONLY has perishable deeds).

Yeah cuz I always take religious and voting suggestions from sick people who think anal sex is normal and voting for more corruption is good for the country. 🙄 I’m done with with lectures from mentally ill people about my whiteness, my heterosexuality, my “privilege” etc.... No more. If it’s “okay” for them to be who they are, it’s okay for me to be who I am. But we all know they do not want us to have the same rights as they. They want us dead. They just haven’t figured out a way to do it enmass yet without a fight.

The accusation exist. Now they have to keep the accusation from being categorically refuted. That’s how the seriousness of the charges rolls ... and always from the left at the right.

Interesting prospective. I was leaning towards the theory that in a country so clearly blessed over others by the prevelance of the Gospel, one has to make effort to reject the obvious to embrace evil. When that grace is lifted, the “unconscious bias” towards evil is like being in a tug of war when the rope breaks.

The rejection of God’s law when socially accepted suddenly “broke” the counterbalance. People who embraced liberalism now suddenly find themselves given over to their lusts.

I see this manafest as the rampant Palin and Trump hatred Tha shows little reasoning yet virulent intensity. Reason no longer works because there is no longer any reason to leverage against. While on the surface Trump seems to be a moment of grace I fear it is a symptom of the lack of it.

In short, when a Nation sows to the wind enough, the resulting tornado may be the new norm. I am hardly comforted by Daniels vision and the book of Revelation confirmation that the next stage of world history is Globalism.

Trump is buying time for the repentant to strengthen, for the coming storm is perfect in destruction.

Ironic indeed when a Gay group who abhors church complains that a Christian is a danger to church and the children their sodomy does not birth.

Evil always mimics those it would destroy in direct encounters.

Also good observations.

Thing is, it can be both.

Where a nation has turned it’s back on God they reap the whirlwind in doing so.

Where a nation has not known The Lord they have only their own devices but are not at as great risk for some aspects of judgment in the now.

Either way, for the saints, with Holy Spirit holding our end of the rope we can stand ground even though a legion is pulling against on the other end of the rope. So I fully expect the left to actually start moving towards murderous dechristianization (think early French Republic) rather than them just intermittently rumble about it as they have been. I would expect it from them even if Revelation didn’t indicate what’s coming.

I’m a sinner, saved by Grace, imperfect Christian to be sure but I’ll take my chances in obeying the Bible and it’s teachings rather than be influenced by those whose lifestyle goes against those teachings. If I lived in Alabama, I’d be at the polls voting for Judge Moore!

Me too. Having a republic depends on electing wise men and good men to lead. Most of Congress is corrupt fools.

We suffer the consequences.
